VEU Registry
The VEU Registry is an online system that:
- facilitates the creation, registration, transfer and surrender of Victorian energy efficiency certificates (VEECs)
- facilitates the submission and approval of product applications for listing of products in our Register of Products
- facilitates the submission and assessment of applications for accreditation, accreditation renewal and variation of accreditation
- tracks the ownership and status of all certificates
- maintains various public registers as required by the Victorian Energy Efficiency Target Act 2007
All VEECs must be created and registered in the VEU Registry before they can be bought, sold, traded or surrendered.
To get involved in the VEU program, you first need to apply for a VEU administrative account here. A VEU administrative account will allow you to submit product applications and apply for further authorisation which permits you to create, hold, transfer and surrender VEECs.
Once you have your VEU administrative account, you can apply to:
- become an accredited person: accredited persons can create VEECs under the VEU program
- hold a VEET scheme registry account: VEET scheme registry account holders can hold, transfer and surrender VEECs
